They are owned by a variety of baby clothing companies that sell everything from nursing covers to nursing pillows to custom onesies. Mendoza said he tried to use the card, but the money didn't cover the shipping fee, so he had to use his credit card for the rest.

To find out, she reached out to a gift card company, Nursing Yellow, and then tracked down information through the Better Business Bureau.
The live chat option on Nursing Yellow was unsuccessful as no representative was available to speak with. On the customer service call, an employee named Kennelly explained that the gift card was valid, and that the customer could use it for the purchase. But, of course, the gift card does not cover shipping, so the customer must enter a credit card.
