At a gas station, using a phone number as an alternative identifier is the only way to earn points when purchasing fuel. You can also enter your phone number as an alternative identifier inside the store. Just tell the store clerk that you want to enter your alternate ID/phone number instead of scanning the barcode.

All RaceTrac loyalty program members will see their fuel reward in their rewards catalog in the RaceTrac app. Click "Use Points" on the main page of the application, go to the fuel reward and click "Use". Click "Apply" again if you're sure you want to use the reward and you'll see that the fuel reward will be marked as an unclaimed reward until you're ready to use it when you pay.
Visit racetrac.com and go to your profile by clicking "Login" at the top right of the home page. Click the Redeem Points button below the total number of available reward points. Navigate to the fuel reward and click "Apply". Click Redeem again if you're sure you want to use the reward.
Your 10 cent fuel discount will be added to your account as an unclaimed reward and is ready to be used on your next visit. When you're ready to claim your fuel reward, enter your gas station phone number, enter your payment method and get ready to save!

The discount will be applied automatically. Before you try to get one at a gas station, make sure you've redeemed your fuel reward in the RaceTrac app or online. Fuel Rewards discount is limited to one discount per transaction. You can use as many discounts as you like, but only one reward discount will apply per transaction.

No. RaceTrac Rewards fuel discounts (RaceTrac Rewards VIP, Fuel Reward and RaceTrac Rewards + Debit) do not currently apply to the extended diesel lamp. We apologize for the inconvenience this causes. You can still earn loyalty points for all fuel transactions in the extended diesel canopy by entering your phone number at a petrol station, in-store pin-pad or by scanning your app at the in-store checkout.
If a fuel reward appears in your RaceTrac app, but you don't receive a gas discount, check your app settings to make sure the phone number you're using matches the phone number associated with your loyalty program account in the app settings. We remind you that rolling back the pump takes place AFTER payment.
Here are some troubleshooting steps: 1. Make sure your RaceTrac app is up to date and your device has a strong internet connection when trying to claim your reward. 2. Make sure you have enough points (175) to claim your reward. 3. Check "Unclaimed Rewards" to ensure fuel has been added to your account.
If the fuel reward has not been added to your account, follow the steps to redeem. Make sure you have entered your phone number in your account settings. This links your phone number to your RaceTrac Rewards account. As you earn more points, you level up and unlock bigger rewards.
