My two-year-old niece is totally obsessed with all things cars, so when it came time to buy her gifts for her first birthday, it was a no-brainer to buy her some kind of electric car.

The Choice And The Gift
My brothers and I had two-seat electric Jeeps growing up in the '90s, so why not join in the next generation of fun? After researching countless cars in a wide price range, my sister decided to pick the best 12v kids ride on truck. It's definitely a more affordable option compared to smaller electric scooters that can sell for under $90, but aside from the official Jeep branding my childhood car had, this one has all kinds of modern equipment that just wasn't possible in decades past.

The Best Choice Kids Pedal Operated Truck features just like our old car, plus a Bluetooth remote control so parents can get behind the wheel whenever they want. It's Built With Safety And Function In Mind
The controls are very simple and allow the user to know which of the three speed settings the car is in. If you are driving on grass, the high speed setting is almost mandatory. I think my dad enjoys driving a human-sized RC car as much as my nephew loves driving around the neighborhood on his new wheels.

In addition to the safety and security of the remote control, the Best Choice Truck has a large seat belt that wraps around the seat, as well as doors that lock to prevent a child from accidentally opening them from the inside. ► Mother's Day 2023 Gift Guide: 60 Best Mother's Day Gift Ideas Every Mom Will Love While this electric toy truck is durable on a basic level, the extras are probably the most impressive.
When it comes to listening to music, the truck has everything a modern vehicle could have in the real world; They include FM radio, Bluetooth function for device pairing, AUX input, microSD card slot, and even a USB port. Wherever or how your child wants to swing, this little gadget supports them.
Outside of the truck, the LED headlights look eerily real. All of these features are easily accessible from the front panel, but easy to ignore if you don't want to. My nephew is so young that we didn't really get to try his music add-ons, but everything worked as advertised.
What’s The Downside?
No product can be perfect, and while our complaints are minor, this best kiddie ride on truck is no exception. While the remote definitely works as it should, it can take some time to get used to the slow speed of the car when cornering.
For example, if danger suddenly appears, the truck will not be able to turn immediately. However, given a fairly small window for preparation and a bit of practice, the show does quite well. While this wasn't much of an issue in our case, some reviewers also found the device's two-hour battery life a bit short.

The chassis is also a bit small, but large enough to comfortably support one child in most situations, but not compact enough to fit in a standard car boot. As long as you plan to have only one driver and don't need to travel with it, this electric van is a really cool ride.

I met him through Ranjan Chatterjee's podcast. Fortunately, at the time of writing this review today, Dr. I saw that Brené Brown posted an interview with him on his podcast as well. In this review, I will summarize his first book, The Choice, and his second book, The Gift.
16 years old d. Edith Egger was sent to Auschwitz with her sister and family. His parents were killed on the spot, and he and his sister continued to survive and live in the camp to the fullest. Edith went on to marry and have children and earn a PhD in Clinical Psychology.

We can learn to "embrace the possible" and "save our lives." The book is his personal memory. Adding to her story, she tells us that most of us live imprisoned in our minds, much like a physical prison in a camp. It encourages us to choose freedom.
He quotes: “If I had to give a therapeutic name, I would probably call it Choice Therapy, because freedom is about choosing empathy, humor, optimism, intuition, curiosity, and self-expression. And to be free is to live in the present…our freedom to choose.” The only place we can use it is in the present."
p. 173) It is our present moment that gives us the power to choose. Even in camp, he says, “I can choose my reaction, I can choose my actions and my speech, and I can choose what to keep in mind.” (p. 205) What we keep in mind is where our freedom lies.
Most of us past or future share: "The most important choice...the choice I make now. The choice to accept myself as I am: human, imperfect. And the choice to be responsible for my own happiness. Forgiving my mistakes and reclaiming my innocence... doing the best I can with my limited abilities."
So that future generations don't experience what I went through. To be useful, to be consumed, to survive and thrive, to use every moment to make the world a better place. Finally, to stop running from the past. To do everything possible to save it and then let it go
