As the official fundraising partner of the National Park Service, the Mount Rushmore Association has supported the Mount Rushmore National Memorial since 1930. The organization provides funds to support park projects beyond base operations, including facility improvements, sculpture maintenance, and salaries for seasonal park rangers.

A statue of President Theodore Roosevelt is right outside! You'll find Black Hills and Mount Rushmore t-shirts, jewelry, home decor, souvenirs, and educational books. Through our partnership with Visit Rapid City, we are now the place for visitors to get visitor information and start their journey to the City of Presidents.
Visit 830 Main Street this summer for brochures and maps of the surrounding Black Hills (including Mount Rushmore!). Visitors can stop by to find information on attractions, parks, restaurants and other activities to make their stay in the Black Hills a great experience. Additionally, we offer a City of Presidents Map that directs visitors to all of the presidential statues located in downtown Rapid City.

Rushmore 13000 Hwy 244 Bldg. 81 Keystone, SD 57751 In the spring of 2017, Xanterra completed renovations to the Rushmore Gift Shop to include more sustainable features and an expanded selection of sustainable products.
Most of the wall hangings and furniture in the gift shop are made from trees harvested after being killed by the mountain pine beetle. A large cage in the center of the gift shop holds more than a ton of wood harvested from a Black Hill ponderosa pine that was also killed by the mountain pine beetle.
All new lighting in the gift shop uses 100% LED technology and uses advanced daylighting and occupancy control systems to provide high-quality lighting with maximum energy efficiency. Xanterra's commitment to American workers, industry, and craftsmanship is demonstrated through a "Made in the USA" section prominently displayed throughout the store.
