Our friendly staff will be happy to help you find the perfect item. Contact us. The Friends of the Huntington Beach Library offer quality programs and special events throughout the year for our members and community. Members have early access to registration and discounted pricing on all programs.
Friends of the Library is a membership-based nonprofit organization. We offer our members a combination of affordable membership options and benefits. New friends are always welcome, join us today. Our popular used bookstore, located on the main level of Central Library, has over 5,000 books, magazines, CDs, DVDs and more on our shelves at any given time.
We also accept donations of your used books. Friends Gift Shop offers unique gifts, greeting cards, stationery and home decor. Register or renew your FOTL membership while shopping. Members save 10% off regular prices. The Friends of the Huntington Beach Library is an all-volunteer, member-supported, nonprofit organization that raises funds to enhance the library's public focus, collections, digital and other resources.

Friends of the Library (FOTL) was founded in July 1971 as a non-profit organization to raise funds for the purchase of books and items not covered by the library budget.
