Whether you are a current fundraiser at The Community Foundation or just thinking about it, the team at The Community Foundation can help you create a soup-to-chestnut gift fund, including giving recipients online access to propose funds from new funds. You can literally put a bow on the fund document carefully, roll it up, enter the listing card URL login and login information to view the fund online and gift packages for children, grandchildren, friends or colleagues as gifts.
Both the giver and receiver will enjoy the experience. When the recipient is a child or grandchild, the educational opportunity is obvious. For example, you could work with The Community Foundation to find resources on The Community Foundation's website and host a family fundraiser via Zoom where basic learning participants donate to charity and are introduced to key issues facing communities in our area and

I am responsible for the vision and national fundraising efforts for The Gift of Giving Foundation as it expands nationally. I studied at Florida International University, where I got a BA in Finance in 2011. I have developed a strong sense of dedication to the non-profit sector as a beneficiary of Make-A-Wish almost 5 years ago.

I am a hemophiliac who has faced many challenges in my life for my health, so for the first time I have many times to volunteer and help people with chronic conditions like me and my own experience.
This past experience led him to found the Gift Giving Foundation. Elsie Acevedo-I am the mother of identical twins who were born with a rare chronic condition. Growing up, I had an older brother who also suffered from chronic illnesses. After moving to South Florida, I had the opportunity to meet other families in the same situation as my son.
Over time, various programs and educational groups were created for the community. The program has helped us as parents as well as patients receive an educational concept of what we do every day with our loved ones affected by chronic health conditions such as So.
Many times, I have been asked to talk to families who have just been diagnosed and are facing many challenges with their new diagnosis. As time went on, I realized that I would rather help others with chronic illnesses, whatever that may be. My greatest joy is opening my arms and being able to help others.

I am the mother of three children, all of whom are seriously ill. In 1985, I earned a Masters in Social Services from New York University (NYU). After having children and living at home for several years, I decided to become a Registered Nurse (RN).
My decision to change careers was a necessity that I faced with my children and their chronic conditions. I need to know how to take care of my children's condition professionally. By becoming an RN, I am able to help the people I love. I am a Certified Public Accountant.
I have been doing it for over twenty years, with a Bachelor of Accountancy degree from Florida International University. Over the years, I have volunteered with various non-profit organizations in various activities to better serve the chronic disease community. I have a strong passion for helping others and that is why I am passionate and dedicated to being a part of The Gift of Giving Foundation.
