So I could not scan the code or enter it manually. I took the card back to Target and they said gift cards are non-refundable and asked me to call the Apple number on the back of the gift card. I called Apple and they said they couldn't help me because part of the code was hidden.
I asked to speak to his manager and was told he could not promote me higher. So I asked if it had to be Tim Cook. He laughed and said "no" then I asked to speak to his supervisor, he said he could not give me anyone else to talk to.

I don't think you understand. I was on the phone with Apple for an hour. I have to say I was out $100 because someone used a razor blade to carefully open the gift card. He took out. The number is copied below. White out used to hide the number.

Target return policy for gift cards - they don't allow it. Contact the police?? That's funny!!
