Below are some tips to help you prepare for your Zoo Boo experience. While we do not include peanuts and tree nuts in gift bags, some products may be made from equipment that processes these products. Join us on our green trip and bring your own bag of candy.
We encourage you to have fun and be creative with your costumes when you visit Zoo Boo at the Detroit Zoo. However, clothing worn during this event must not contain sharp objects, pointed objects, or materials that could inadvertently injure another Guest. Additionally, balls of any kind, as well as sports balls, beach balls or other similar types of balls, are not permitted on Zoo grounds.
Zoo Boo will be open from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. October 8-9, 15-16 and 21-23. Table 28, Cup & Pint, Buddy's Pizza, Boardwalk Station, and Mitten Market will be open for food and drinks during Zoo Boo visits. Be sure to check out the Zoofari Market and photo booth before you head to your Detroit favorite!
Credit cards or debit cards are preferred payment methods. Parking is $8 per vehicle for all Zoo Boo visitors, including Detroit Zoo members. Welcoming participants: Members. Early bird rates for members are valid until September 15. Advance tickets range from $15 to $21 per person ages 2 and up.

General Admission: Tickets go on sale September 16. Advance ticket prices range from $17 to $23 per person ages 2 and up. • The 4D theater, Tauber railroad and carousel will be open for your enjoyment during Zoo Boo. Tickets to the 4D theater cost $6 per person;

Feel free to dress up according to each weekend's theme! All costumes are welcome during Zoo Boo. Wild animals and wilderness October 8-9 Fly like a butterfly in the evening or walk in the park like a dinosaur as we celebrate the beautiful world around us during Wildlife and Wilderness Week.

October 15-16 Grab your sim and get ready to howl at the moon as we enter a magical world with witches, wizards and werewolves. Let your imagination run wild with a bite at dusk like a vampire, or let the piggie dust fly like a fairy.
Heroes and Villains | October 21-23 Put on a hat or practice laughing at cute villains as heroes and villains take over at Zoo Boo! Whether you want to be a doctor or firefighter, dress up as your favorite crime-fighting hero, or take on the world as your favorite galactic controller, Heroes & Villains Weekend has you covered.
Zoo Boo is a treat or treat. Stations will be located in the park, please see the Zoo Boo map for locations. Medical bags will not be provided, although a limited number of reusable bags will be available for purchase at the Zoofari Market.
