The Independent Gift Shop underwent a complete renovation and expansion in 2018 to better serve visitors and locals alike.

Free Films
Explore things to do on the city's largest interactive digital wall, a summery, multi-user experience that encourages users to respond, share and interact dynamically. Purchase discounted tickets to more than 100 local tours, attractions and museums, and get expert advice from friendly, multilingual staff at the Philadelphia Visitor Information Office.
Capture memories with a picture-perfect view on the Liberty View Terrace, located on the middle level of the Visitor Center, with breathtaking views of Independence Mall. Wheelchairs can be rented at the National Park Service desk. Visitors can fill out a form provided and submit a photo.

A manual wheelchair can be reserved free of charge, subject to availability and must be provided. ASL interpretation is available upon request. Please call (215) 597-7130 at least 14 days before your visit. Parking is available at Independence Mall's Autopark, a 24-hour secure, gated garage located beneath the Visitor Center.
Free Wi-Fi is available throughout our building, so you never have to leave the plug. Opening credits are available for all free movies at the National Historical Park. Assistive listening devices are available on request. A portable loop system is available at the visitor's desk and is compatible with all telecoil-mounted hearing aids, cochlear implants and induction loop receivers.
Interactive Digital Wall
A receiver with headphones is also available for people without compatible hearing aids. Since 2003, the Liberty Bell has been displayed in a structure on Independence Mall known as the Liberty Bell Center. Tickets are not required to visit the bell, but entry requires a security check.
