To verify, she reached out to Nursing Pillow, one of the gift card companies, and then tracked down the information through the Better Business Bureau. The live chat option on Nursing Pillow did not have any success, as no agent was available to talk. On the customer service telephone line, an employee named Kenley explained that the gift card set was valid, and that a customer could apply it to a purchase. But, yes, the gift card does not cover shipping, so the customer must input a credit card. Shipping may cost upwards of $10. Kenley explained Nursing Pillow and all the companies in the gift card set are sister companies. Their parent company is Mother's Lounge, LLC. The BBB says Mother's Lounge is not BBB-accredited and has an F-rating, because the BBB found advertising flaws and a failure to respond to at least eight customer complaints. A couple of customers complained that they received cards in the mail that appeared to be handwritten cards from a "Jane," who had no return address. Others complained about product quality and hidden fees. On the BBB website, Mother's Lounge responded to some of the complaints, clarifying that it has no hidden fees and offers other discounts. Gift card sets are valid, but the customer must pay for shipping, which can be expensive. So, while potentially fraudulent, the gift card set does not appear to be a scam. And poor parents pay to get gifts for their kids but never see these hats.. I have used the canopy and the custom pacifier.. Both orders received and looked as promised. I used boppy pillows, covers, carseat canopy, shoes, and a snack carrier. All that if I received and saw as they were told. I used the canopy and custom pacifier, I put my daughters name on them and planned to send them to daycare for her. Shipping was a bit steep I think $12 for each but I got everything on time and as I hoped it would look. I got the eskimo kids hat and paid 12 for shipping. They target pregnant women because of how high the shipping is they aren't really "free" I have used canopy and pacifier coupons and received everything as promised. I agree that the shipping cost is high. I got it from my doctors office. Looked them up and their websites were the same just different products. So I thought it was very suspicious and the shipping was high. Never used it. Yes, I agree. They claim it's free, but in my opinion the shipping cost is too high. I used the carseat canopy and got it. I agree that shipping is high. I wouldn't have ordered it without the coupon! I used several of them and received everything I ordered. Yes the shipping is high, but if you think about how much similar items go for on Amazon it is still cheap. It's about how you see it. It's very similar with Shutterfly, I usually only order something if the original item is free because the shipping cost is so high. I have used them before and was happy with everything. I got all my items too. I want to say that shipping was only $12.99 which in my opinion is not worth it when you get an item for free. The only thing I had a problem with was the boppy pillow as it is smaller than I expected. But my LO uses it all the time because it's perfect for his size.
