Basically the subject matter is liked. Therefore, the conjugation of the verb depends on it. And the "nose" shows who the gift favors from.

Nos" could be supplemented with "A nosotros" but that's a bit "unnecessary". Therefore, this sentence literally translated into English would be: "Your gift pleases us" or "Your gift pleases us" Some people say. So why does the sentence start with "A nosotros"? That's just a way of saying it.
If you remember what I said earlier, you can see the correct translation: "Tu regalo nos gusta". Here you can add "A Nosotros". "Tu regalo nos gusta a nosotros" but that is redundant because "Nos" already tells us what "A nosotros" emphasizes. And in "Tu regalo nos gusta a nosotros" you can change the order of the words and that's how you get a duo sentence: "A nosotros nos gusta tu regalo".

I think gusta is used with singular pronouns: I, you, he, she, that, and gusta is used with plural pronouns. Why not use nos gustan With this verb exercise (for example we were told to translate "like" and "love" in English), remember, the order is reversed to the more common subject/verb/object order.
The subject comes after the verb in the phrase, and is considered the 3rd person subject (in this case, "gift") and the verb gift is conjugated as "that". What makes them happy? (That) gift makes them happy / pleases / makes them happy. (The present tense can mean anything, and the part "please" is usually used for negation or emphasis.) So gusta doesn't change - because the subject, the gift, is the same.
To dive deeper into this I need someone more knowledgeable to help! Does gustau turn into gustan if the subject is plural? So far, we haven't seen examples of sentences like "All the teachers like Mrs. Perez's kids." (Mrs. Perez's children are happy for all the teachers.) It went like this: A todos los maestros les gustan los niños de a Sra.

I'm having trouble distinguishing between direct and indirect objects. I thought I understood until I started learning Spanish! But in the example you mentioned, from my understanding "mananas" is the subject in the Spanish sentence. "Mind" is what pleases. "I" means happy/happy. Since "mananas" is plural, we use "gustan".
