The smell of donuts and freshly ground coffee wafted down Via Flagler Friday morning, marking another step in the revitalization of Royal Poinciana Road in Palm Beach. “We imagined what this area once was. Now we're bringing back the energy and the fun,” says David Frisby, partner in the new Breakers cafe and trendy boutique called Main Street.
When the doors opened at 6:30 a.m., Frisby and his wife, Suzanne, were the first customers. Photo: Breakers Classic cafe and contemporary boutique opens on Main Street Via Flagler Via Flagler is a 1.3 acre mixed-use development on the site of the former Testa's restaurant.
The Testa building, along with a nearby vacant gas station and shopping area, was demolished and replaced by Via Flagler, which also includes Henry's The Breakers Restaurant. The development consists of three buildings facing Sunset Avenue. Each has a second floor residence and first floor retail space.

When it opened Friday morning, customers on Main Street had a choice of five flavors of their handmade donuts, as well as coffee, pastries, sandwiches, smoothies, ice cream and gelato. Cruffins - a combination of Hawaiian dough and strudel - are also available. Crystals, linens, bakeware, cologne and newspapers are for sale.
