Stonehenge Gift Shop - Parking is available on site. During peak periods parking charges apply to non-members and those who have not pre-booked tickets, which are fully refundable with the purchase of a Stonehenge ticket. Parking spaces are reserved for motorhomes. A visitor bus service departs frequently from the visitor center for those who need it, and takes about 10 minutes to reach the Stones.

Our spacious cafe serves a variety of hot and cold take-out meals, including drinks, soups, cakes, sandwiches, salads and other sweet and savory dishes. We accommodate most dietary requirements, including gluten-free and vegan. You can picnic in the monument field overlooking the stone circle or in other designated areas around the visitor center and landscape.

The Stonehenge Souvenir Shop offers an extensive selection of books, gifts and souvenirs, including jewelery and an exclusive range of Barbour clothing and accessories. Male and female restrooms, including accessible baby and adult changing rooms, are available in the Visitor Center. Dogs on a leash are allowed around the visitor center.

Animals are not allowed in the Stone Circle, the exhibition or on the visitor bus. The National Trust has recently established dog-free zones in all fields grazed by sheep in the Stonehenge landscape where access is permitted. Foreign Language Audio Tours

The exhibition contains almost 300 archaeological objects, finds from Stonehenge and other nearby monuments, now exhibited on site for the first time. All objects are on loan from Salisbury Museum and Wiltshire Museum, Devizes. We recommend visiting these two museums to learn more about the prehistory of the Stonehenge area.

No formal gardens, but there are a range of walking routes available within the World Heritage Site to suit a range of ages and abilities. If you choose to walk along the road, please always stay on the designated footpath. You can download a free audio tour in advance from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store or via the free Wi-Fi available in the Visitor Center.

Please note that there are no audio guides available for hire at Stonehenge. The audio guide is available in English, French, German, Spanish. Italian, Dutch, Russian, Mandarin, Japanese, Polish, Korean and Brazilian Portuguese. Headphones can be purchased in the gift shop and at the entrances for £2.

Educational group visits must be booked in advance, call 0370 333 0606 for details. We are currently unable to offer audio tours on the site. Our English audio guide can be downloaded here. English Heritage welcomes amateur photographers to our sites and we hope you will share your photos of your visit with us on social media.
