I go to the SW website > Southwest Rewards Card > Check Your Balance and I enter the information including a 16 digit number and a 4 digit security number.

It always gives me the following error message: I have tried from a personal computer, a work computer and a mobile phone and all get the same answer. I'm sorry for the trouble checking your card balance. I have some questions to help resolve the issue: 1) Can the card be purchased directly from Southwest Airlines?
If not, do you know where they were purchased? 2) Sometimes the numbers on the card can look like other numbers - for example, the number 6 may look like the number 8. Look at the numbers carefully, maybe with a magnifying glass if you have one

Will this be resolved at some point? Southwest is currently dealing with many of the issues arising from the transition to the new booking system, so I doubt that this issue will be pushed down the list of priorities - if it had been there in the first place (it's hard to believe that they couldn't help but fix such a simple problem in the last 6 months).

One hopes that it will be resolved soon, but one is not overly optimistic. That has been the case for some time - at least since last November. It looks like part of the website is down, but there are other ways you can check your balance online (besides calling).

I wonder why the website is still not fixed? I have contacted SWA about this 2 times before but no one seems to understand what I am talking about and criticize the device I am using. very hard to believe that you have to decide this- and none of the SWA staff, twitter users, programmers or even moderators here have any idea.
Unfortunately, according to the website that first reported the work I posted earlier, the "fix" is now broken again. I usually don't recommend Southwest gift cards. Restricted use, inability to add funds or balance, and the inability to withdraw make them risky and unattractive as an option.
