Sims 3 Gift Giving Party
The SIM will purchase a gift box on the spot §15 and then present it to the recipient. The gift box will not actually contain anything, and the player Sim will not be able to choose a specific object to gift. Gifts have expanded in The Sims: Hot Date.
To give a gift from Hot Date, a Sim must have an item in their inventory that can be given to another Sim, such as a diamond ring or flowers. The recipient either accepts the gift, strengthening the relationship, or destroys it, causing a major setback in the relationship and destroying the object.
The Sims 2: Seasons reintroduces this feature, but allows Sims to gift almost any object in the game as long as the object appears in their inventory. The only known item that cannot be given as a gift is a tombstone. The recipient will accept or reject the gift based on the value of the item and their relationship with the gift giver.
The Sims[]
Sims with low affinity will only accept high-value gifts, while extremely high affinity scores ensure that even the most worthless object will be happily accepted. Sims are more likely to give gifts in winter. The gift feature was reintroduced in The Sims 3: Generations. This includes gifts from sims or family stock.

Sims are more likely to accept if they have a high affinity. The reaction of a Sim receiving a gift will always be positive, regardless of the value of the item. Sims can also give flowers as a romantic interaction for §40. Sims can buy flowers from the grocery store or through direct interaction, although the grocery store may lower the price.
In The Sims 3: Seasons, Sims can also receive gifts during Gift Parties. A gift pile is automatically set up at the start of the party (if there's room), and guests add gift boxes as they arrive. Hosts can then call everyone together to receive gifts from the pile.
Gifts have been reintroduced in The Sims 4: Seasons. Sims can gift any item from their inventory or just Simoleons. The receiving Sim can reject the gift depending on its quality, their relationship with the giving Sim, and the type of gift used. Sims can either give a friendly gift, a funny gift, a romantic gift, or a simple gift.
Relationship Changes From Gifts[]
Gifts can also be obtained from gift stacks purchased in build mode. With Parenthood installed, gifts from a child or adolescent Sim will increase their sympathetic character's value. Every holiday with Father Winter, as a tradition, he will appear at 8:00 pm. Lots of gifts to share with any non-NPC sim.
Sims considered to be on his "naughty list" will receive a coal or a Future Cube instead of the usual gift. She will also place gifts on certain holiday trees and gift piles, and she can be asked for gifts directly. A party is an event that a Sim can throw, either for fun or to commemorate a special event.

Although Sims could throw parties in The Sims and The Sims: Livin' Large, The Sims couldn't throw huge parties until The Sims: House Party, which included many party-related items in that content pack. Throwing parties allows Sims to interact with neighbors they didn't know existed.
It is possible to increase the size of the party by using the "throw party" action multiple times, and it is usually up to the player to keep it within their computer's limits. When using the "throw party" option on a phone, the player has no control over who gets invited.
The Sims 2: Seasons[]
However, another characteristic of a house party is that any large enough gathering in any living space is considered a party. Therefore, a Sim can throw a party by inviting enough other Sims to come. In The Sims, a party crasher is taken by Alfred, butler's special NPC guests may also appear.
If the party goes too well, Drew Carey might perform. If the party is bad, a mime may appear. A party crasher can also appear randomly, usually caused by something the player's Sim can do. Other special NPC characters include entertainers, DJs, and caterers. In The Sims 2, parties are timed, scored events that start with a phone call.
They can only be activated between 8am and midnight, five game hours. They cannot be terminated immediately; Sending all the guests home early causes a big drop in the party score. Parties can have anywhere from 1 to 8 guests as limited by system specifications, although later expansions will allow up to a maximum of eight regardless.

The player can decide which Sims to invite, but the probability of an invited guest arriving depends on their relationship to the specific Sim who throws the party (the phone number does), regardless of their relationship to other family members. Guests can leave early if their mood is too low by being too hungry, tired, or bored, but the party score is not negatively affected as long as they all leave before the situation ends.
The Sims 3[]
The sides go on to increase the total daily points for all welcome non-holder participants, with scores calculated every 15 minutes. The total daily relationship growth is divided by the number of guests there to calculate the average daily relationship point increase or decrease over the last 15 minutes.
Additionally, this average is divided by a further divisor by the number of guests within it: 1-2 guests, 3-4 guests and more than 5 guests. This scaling factor doesn't necessarily make small parties easier, except for parties with just 1 guest, which will benefit the most and actually help a lot more with larger parties.
One is old or married to meet special requirements for special parties like birthdays and weddings, otherwise incurs a score penalty. This penalty starts 90 minutes before the end of the party, every 15 minutes when the score is counted. When the party host invites four of their family members to the party, Sims have memories of a family reunion.
If a party isn't over by 11:00pm and certain conditions are met, there's a 50% chance the police will come and break it up at any minute. Police can break up parties if they are too "loud", which obviously means: a stereo is on, there are 8 or more Sims at the party, and it's after 11:00pm.
