The problem with this study is the drop in purchases by Acehnese due to the influence of brand ambassador Valentino Rossi on the Yamaha Jupiter MX advertisement.

This study aims to determine the effect of the brand ambassador Valentino Rossi in the advertisement of the Yamaha Jupiter MX in decreasing the purchase of residents of Banda Aceh. This study uses a quantitative method, that is, a methodology that aims to develop and use mathematical models.
This survey was conducted in the city of Banda Aceh, and the respondents were people from the city of Banda Aceh. The supporting theory used in this study is the AIDDA theory. The total population of this study is 159,769 people aged 17 and over in the city of Banda Aceh.
The research sample was obtained using the Taro Yamane formula, that is, 100 individuals. With sampling technique using intentional sampling with data collection technique using questionnaire. The results showed that some results of the hypothesis test showed that the hypothesis was rejected because based on the table of coefficients it was concluded that the tcount for the hypothesis was 1.635.
