You, your children and your grandchildren are wrong. And who can blame you? It's all a bunch of mom. (But you probably doubted it.) But like I said, you might have started to doubt it when you got into the double digits and realized that the North Pole is a wasteland of ice and water.
That was when you found out his real name was St. Nicholas and you were convinced he was German or something because of the whole Klaus / Klaus thing. Isn't that what Betty Sue told you about swinging in 5th grade? Well, look, Betty Sue was wrong, and you've been living a lie for far too long, so let me set the record straight.
Santa Claus (or Saint Nicholas) hails from Turkey (yes, Turkey), just a stone's throw (well, about 80 miles by modern road to be exact) from where Handan was born. Of course, it wasn't known as "Turkish" then - it was actually ancient Greece - but that's semantics.

Yes, far from the snowy land we've all been fed over the years, Saint Nick spent his youth visiting the warm and sunny shores of the Mediterranean. Now, to add fuel to the raging Christmas controversy, Turkey has recently questioned the final resting place of Saint Nick's bones.

In 1087, Santa's bones were placed in Myra (then part of Greece, now Demre, Turkey). Ol' Nik has been a skeleton for almost 700 years and might have remained there for another 700 if not for the sudden invasion of a group of rebel Seljuk Turks.
Worried that St. Nick's remains might be harmed, a group of Italian merchants absconded with the ancient bones and drove them further to Bari, Italy, before the Turks attacked. For the past thousand years, we all thought that our beloved Santa Claus was resting in peace in Italy.

Who knows what's inside? Archaeologists in Turkey also claim to have found original writings stating that the bones were taken to Italy by another priest. OH MY GOD! If only Geraldo and Jerry Springer were there to record the reaction. Of course, the Italians did not like this "discovery", no love.
And now we have a trans-Mediterranean feud over the bones of Jolly Ol' Saint Nick. Where do you think Santa's bones are buried? Italy or Turkey? I am married to a Turkish man, so I compete with Turkey. Besides, they need rest. Their history has been borrowed, looted and stolen by their neighbors for millennia.

If you still have problems, please email me. Is "Santa Claus" Nicholas dead? Well, my childhood passes, right under the water hole. It was bad enough that the red suit's fat, aggressive demeanor never got me on a horse, but thanks to you, I now know why.
I don't know if I should stop the therapy sessions or increase them. Thank you very much. LOL Nice signs I need to buy a new printer (mine died recently). Would you recommend laser printing with one ink? And if so, what would you recommend?
Thank you! LOL! Thanks, Steph! Ah, good! On the subject of prints...if you really want the best in prints, photos and art, I would recommend laser printer ink. Laser is good for printing documents. Inkjet is great for photos and art. If you can afford it, I would recommend getting a large format printer that can print up to 13×19.
The rule we have and the love that is not done now and use them are almost double what we paid, so unfortunately I can no longer recommend it. But check Amazon here as a starting point: https://amzn.to/3kLVkek Stephanie, I found the one we have on Amazon.
