Where To Use Your Visa Gift Card

Using Your Visa Gift Card In Stores And Online
The issuer determines the maximum amount a Visa Gift card can carry. If you plan to return something you bought with the card, you will still need the same card. So saving your gift card for a while is a good idea. Of course, you need a Visa Card.
The merchant processes the refund just like any other business and can place the money on your card. If your gift card says US only valid on the front, your outlet issued a domestic use only card. While your gift card is not accepted in locations outside the US, gift cards are accepted at millions of US locations that accept Visa Debit Cards.
When you are ready to pay, keep your Visa card ready and, in the online form, fill in your 16-digit card number, expiry date and CVV number. You'll want to make sure your gift balance is enough to cover the amount of your purchase. Keep your Visa card with you and then, when asked, provide the following: 16-digit card number, date of issue and CVV number.
