When selecting "add more", customers do not have the option to add more or less items that are already on the pizzas and salads. The only option is to choose items that are not already on the pizza.
When given the opportunity to add special instructions, the character limit is only 40. This reduces the ability of customers to tell staff the total amount of extras they would like if they had more extras to add. For example, let's say a customer orders a Super Mushroom pizza.
In the special instructions they want to order extra mushrooms, mozzarella, spinach and cheese. This request exceeds the 40 character limit, breaking the client and their ability to request additional cheese. It would be great if there was a list of ingredients and the ability to choose more or less items on pizzas and salads in the food customization screen, instead of the special instructions screen.

Example: If a customer wants extra cheese, they can choose from three options: light, regular, or extra. It would also be great to increase the character limit on the screen with special instructions. What if the customer has multiple food allergies? They may not be able to tell staff about all of their allergies if they exceed the 40 character limit.

Otherwise, the app is fine. I would like to add that the staff at the Happy Valley, Oregon location is wonderful. So congratulations to them. 👍🏼 The Mod app was quite problematic before and I messaged the company a few times when I had issues with it.
A recent update cured many of my ailments. It's not as intuitive as I'd like and I ran into a few bugs, but I like that if I want to edit something now, it still retains my previous selections, so I'm tweaking and not completely rebuilding the pizza.
I also don't get errors where I can no longer generate an order from history or favorites if something is out of stock. There's still a small bug here where the same element isn't always recognized, but at least now only problematic elements are skipped, not the entire sequence.

Ordering for a family of 6 is really tiring and time consuming if you start from scratch every time. I don't like how there's some back and forth between the food menu and the app control menu and it occasionally canceled my order when I tried to adjust the location, but at least the history reordering works now so it's not

Usually, when I walk in, I'm greeted by friendly faces who seem happy to serve me. I didn't feel it today especially from the man who works the oven. When I walked in, he looked at me with a dark face for a long time until I finally said, "I'm here to order a cell phone."
He replied in a very hostile voice, "It's in the oven." I kept waiting for my order (made on time) so thanks for that!! He didn't offer to put it in a bag or extra sauce like he usually does. He hardly said, "Here are your orders."

Today I am disappointed with the customer service. I'm not sure of the reasoning, but we will most likely end our time here at Mod Pizza and continue to do business elsewhere in Georgetown for our Friday treats. The app is not very user-friendly when it comes to ordering.
I have ordered several times and would like to pick up my food at 11:15, considering they all open at 11 so I can pick my kids up from preschool on time. I can never get it to work on the app and I have to dial 11:30.
Other pizzerias in town have pizzas ready at 11, which makes it more convenient for us. I don't usually complain, but I am very disappointed in the customer service I experienced today, especially from the gentleman working in the oven. The developer, MOD Pizza, has indicated that the app's privacy practices may include the handling of data as described below.
