The new Mariano's packaging, which appears to be a Kroger product, isn't much for the serious shopper. 1. Items sold by weight are arranged by the pound (no servings) or in seemingly arbitrary units (1/3 lb. of fresh ginger, but about 2/3 lb. of a crown of broccoli).
When checking out, you can indicate the amount you need as a note, but there is no guarantee that you will receive it. 2. There is no way to announce acceptable product changes. Oh, you can make a note, but it will be ignored, and you'll get an email that gives you the wrong substitute, or, saddest, none at all, even though you've said exactly what will suffice.

3. Many products in the store (for example, butcher's sausages) are not available in this application. Prior to this update, you could specify the changes and the seller called you on the phone to discuss them. Things that don't show up in the app can be special order and complex instructions (eg: "Only write in the knives between the flavors I ordered, but make sure I don't end up with mud in more than two go if any. given variety.") can be given.
Mariano's is an upscale grocery store, but its app treats me like I'm shopping at Kroger in Anytown, USA. I agree with the other reviewers that the app just keeps getting worse!!! You can't even add to the list by clicking on the weekly ad.

The application shows the lowest price on the shelf and what is in the register. I'm not sure how this happens when the registers and the app should search the same price database When I select based on coupons I should limit to new coupons or coupons from the last 7 days when sorting by amount .
This is a service provided by Mariano's website. Please note the comments of other reviewers, do not treat Mariano's as Kroger but as an established local name. Safeway did it with Dominick and they went broke. The old app was fine. If I need to buy multiple products to use the coupon, the amount of the coupon should be divided by the number of items to be purchased, even if sorted.
Finally, when you go to coupons, it shouldn't take 10-15 seconds to load. Also, if I list an item from a sale flyer and the sale is over, what if I remove it from the list (or show the item's current price and sale price if it's on sale).

We will share your feedback with our digital team. Have a nice day! During the lockdown I started using this app. It's not perfect, but it works, so I rely on it for all my outdoor tasks. But the new version removes everything that worked before and replaces it with a more confusing interface that doesn't work.
After the first use, my order was completely ruined. 1. I wrote the exchanges they texted and they did the exchanges anyway. 2. They made me do something. 3. They don't keep my history so I can quickly select the products I've already bought and save my purchase.
4. They don't have room to leave notes like "green banana" in the app. So I have to use the website anyway after using the app. 5. However, they don't read the notes on the websites and just put the wrong ones. 6. They don't call to explain the final products so mark me the wrong product and charge me.
Now I have to go back to the shop to fix everything. After all, I need to find another place for my material in the future.
