Gifts of real estate in Massachusetts A deed of gift, or deed of gift, is a legal document that voluntarily transfers title to real property from one party (the donor or donee) to another (the recipient or donee).
Gift deeds usually transfer real estate between family or close friends. Gift deeds are also used to donate to non-profit organizations or charities.
