Embrace science with today's Groupon for exhibit admission, a movie at the Joseph D. Williams Science Theater or the IMAX theater, and the Pulseworks motion simulator at the Liberty Science Center in Jersey City.
The center is open for exploration Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Choose from the following options: A non-profit science museum, the Liberty Science Center offers the nation's largest IMAX dome screen and live science programs with audience participation, as well as traveling and permanent exhibits.

The Pulseworks motion simulator transports groups of up to eight underwater or into space without leaving the hub or having to fill your spacesuit with a wing during five-minute journeys with complete waivers. The Liberty Science Center offers a dozen galleries for interactive exploration. Visitors can climb the Infinity Climber, which hangs 35 feet in the air;
or connect with more than 100 animal species, including adorable naked rats, buzzing bees and a family of tamarin monkeys. In I Explore, young scientists aged 2 to 5 learn about the world around them while releasing colorful balloons or creating a unique design on a light wall.
Visitors can also purchase tickets to a planetarium show at the largest planetarium in the Western Hemisphere. The family can easily spend more than four hours in the many hands-on attractions and experiences designed to excite visitors about the power, promise and sheer fun of science and technology.

Opened in January 1993, Liberty Science Center has been at the forefront of science entertainment and education for more than 25 years.
