The Eastern National Store at Cape Cottage West Dennis Salt Pond Visitor Center is open daily 9:00-4:30 PM. Enter from the back of the building. Due to COVID-19, the Provincial Lands Visitor Center and Highland Light Stores are closed. East National promotes public understanding and support of more than 130 national parks and other public trusts.
There are National Parks of America shops at Cape Cod National Seashore, Salt Basin Visitor Center, Provincial Lands Visitor Center, and Highland Light. Additionally, the East National Highland Light operates guided tours. Most of the proceeds from the shops and tours go behind the National Seashore, interpretation, education, science and research.
Beach Plum Kitchen
The shops are an extension of the beach interpretation program; Items have been selected because they reflect the coast and themes, have educational value and enhance public understanding of the coast. The pre-national contribution has benefited the waterfront and visitors in many ways. East National frequently sponsors interpretive events for visitors, such as National Youth Ranger Day, guest lectures, and performances.
