Well I don't plan to buy a Tallneck at this time. Fortunately 71785 exists and has a decent price here. @rople said: "Well, my plan is to buy a Tallneck for now." I was planning to take 21331 or 76247 via 76242, but alas... I have no way to go to 40581... So first the threshold for GWP is so high, you have to sell a kidney or grandma, and now GWP with only a few subjects
Given that needs a boost. Thank God, I don't care about that. @merman said: "So before the threshold for GWP is very high, you either have to sell a kidney or your grandmother, and now GWP is only given to certain subjects who need a boost.... thank god I'm not. Anyway interested in it
6. “I'm ready for some good Lego reviews. But to be fair, it's pretty much just an unlicensed band. However, I'm also thankful for a wallet vacation that I don't even have the slightest idea of wanting. I imagine, this GWP should be given to groups that have the same target population as Bionicle fans.

But friends and DOTS don't seem like such themes. So that means picking a brick doesn't even count, right? I was planning on using it, but I may have to change my order a bit. Does "Classic" include the botanical collection and other 18+ sets?

So about $200 here in Australia! Good thing I have some interest in this GWP. Bad news for Bionicle lovers! O FFS. It would now cost a fortune on eBay. Bionicle fans are all bloody adults now, why did they limit it to child-centric themes?
I understand that they want to increase sales of unlicensed sets, but I was planning to get the Galaxy Explorer to get this GWP and it seems that it is not possible, which is really stupid. The icons also contain some licensed items, but this should also be accessible through GWP non-licensed icon sets.
Guess I'll have to buy the overpriced Tahu and Takua at Bricklink. I've been working with Lego for the past month. I had a survey email from them last week and was concerned about prices and any stock. Everything I want is out of stock or available cheaper elsewhere.

They said they needed to regain their focus. As for cheap, no one really cares, give us value for money again. It's not like they don't have a bob or two or make huge profits. After purchasing several things over the past few years, I found myself ordering my first in the new year last June.
I didn't feel the same, I was hoping I'd get it with the Galaxy Explorer, guess not. Wonder why the icons aren't listed, it's also an unlicensed theme, which seems to be what they're going for. @Gatanui said: "Does 'Classic' include the botanical collection and the other 18+ sets?"

Don't think so. The classic is the basic brick box. 18+ kits are "Elegant" Bionicle was a tech theme and not tech worthy. Pure insanity, with this selection of themes only give this figure to children. GWPs are a mistake, especially when they use special printed parts.
From the Amelia Earhart plane and the classic Hot Rod, most of these concepts should be common kits, probably only in LEGO stores and the LEGO online store. Many of these GWPs do not even have a very high market value and can be found for relatively low prices, but the shipping costs of private sellers always keep them at a profit.

There is no interest in it, unless there is something interesting with it. In the same week last year, the Vintage Taxi (£200 threshold) was available with another £85 GWP threshold. So come on Lego, there's a pizzeria that needs a delivery truck! UGH, what?
First there were rumors that it would have certain themes, then it seemed to be confirmed that it wasn't, now it is again... I'm so disappointed with this. I was really looking forward to this set, and now it's really hard to justify. This is extremely disappointing.
As these days are, I really hate that Lego removed the store calendars. This business can be crazy not knowing the promotions and promotion details until a few days in advance. @HidesFromSun said: "So brick solutions don't even count, right? I was planning on using that, but I might have to change my order a bit "Standard brick solutions don't count towards GWP.

While (maybe it never did?), so even if it had more specific restrictions, it probably still wouldn't count. And of course all the parts in the "best-sellers" (which are usually counted in GWP) are 10 times more expensive (if not more) than bricklink so there's no reason to ever buy from there to begin with, cheaper to buy GWP itself.
9To5toys’ Take
from bricklink. I think I might have to get the Viking Creator set. I don't know why I would want to wait for something more interesting than a Toa built system. Fortunately, I don't shop Day 1, so I still have a very large wish list of January 1st releases.
However, how it is handled is extremely stupid. Since when does hypothetical back-to-market price factor into LEGO's launch/marketing strategy? Anyone who wants this probably wants a tech set or a better performance model. The only thing within this selection that comes very close to the interest of the stereotypical Bionicle fan is some Ninjago Dragons/Mechas (plus maybe some Monkey Kid).
Friends too, but still. I am in two minds. @magmafrost said: "And of course all the parts in the "best-sellers" (which are often calculated in GWP) are 10 times as expensive (if not more) than Bricklink, so no reason to ever buy one to begin with."
No, cheaper to buy GWP yourself from bricklink." This is a broad generalization. I order parts and everything I'm interested in, bestseller or not, is cheaper on PaB than BrickLink. I don't think PaB has ever qualified for the GWP thresholds. @magmafrost said:" @HidesFromSun said:"So picking a brick doesn't even count, right?
