Designed with families in mind, there are many ways for kids of all ages to immerse themselves in history at the museum – from kid-length exhibits and car playrooms, to slumber camps or have the whole family packed into your recording room to share them.

On Family Days, the museum offers special educational and community programs that include arts-and-crafts and other hands-on projects, costumed interpreters, story time, music, movies and other family-friendly activities.

At the museum, you'll explore American history through the lens of an immigrant group and a religious minority. We encourage all visitors to consider their own heritage and identity and to think about how different communities exist and function in America. There are lots and garages nearby as well as metered street parking.
The Stock Exchange Garage, one block from the museum, is open 24 hours a day. SEPTA: Via the Market-Frankford line, eastbound and westbound trains stop at 5th and Market, below the museum. Visit SEPTA's website or use your favorite map app for details and a trip planner.

The museum is wheelchair accessible. All floors including storage, dining and storage levels are accessible and accessible by elevator.
