Gift Cards Api - This document is written for WooCommerce developers who want to extend or customize WooCommerce Gift Cards. Requires deep understanding of WooCommerce REST API. Gift Cards introduces a new /gift_cards/ endpoint that allows you to create, read, update and delete gift card codes. To update a key/value pair in the meta_data array, pass the existing key.

To update an existing key in the meta_data array with a new value, pass the existing key with the new value pair. To delete a key/value pair in a meta_data array, supply the existing key but remove the value. Note: You can create, update or delete up to 100 objects.
Gift Cards extends the /order/response endpoint with the gift_cards property, which lists all the gift card codes used to pay for the order, along with the amount used by each. This API allows you to retrieve and view specific sequences by ID. This API allows you to use multiple gift cards in an incredible sequence.
A gift card with a specified amount will only be applied if the total amount of the remaining order exceeds the specified amount. If you do not specify an amount, the API will try to pay as much of the remaining order amount as possible using the available gift card balance.
Update A Gift Card Meta Key/Value Pair
To remove the gift card from the order, set the quantity attribute to 0. If one of the gift card codes provided is invalid, does not have the balance, or cannot be redeemed, then the request will fail. The example below demonstrates how to apply multiple gift card codes to an order totaling $100.
