Not to be considered a gift of healing.God inspires people to find solutions, surgeries and medicines, but this is not a gift. Healing gifts go beyond natural methods to bring healing. This does not mean that God does not use a doctor or medicine to heal.
He does, but it is outside of this gift. The purpose of healing is fairly self-explanatory. This is to cure people and free them from disease. Therefore, they can live on this earth and follow God's plans. It builds up the church, bears witness to God's power and goodness, and brings the lost to God.
This shows that Jesus is alive and walking in His Church! We see all this throughout the New Testament! Healings in the Bible are like miracles! They are everywhere in the Bible, especially physical healing. From Genesis to Revelation we see God's hand moving in healing.
