There is something about Paris: the streets; environments, Romance makes me want to shop. Sightseeing in Paris is limited to shopping for souvenirs and souvenirs. But figuring out what to buy in Paris isn't as easy as you might think: you'll find many of the same types of tchotchkes around town (even in high-end department stores).
It's a shame when you want to bring home a special gift from a Parisian memory (who knows, because memories from Paris are always special). When I was planning my own trip to Paris, I tried googling the best/best Paris souvenirs for Paris souvenir gift ideas.

But I always see the same revised lists copied from each other; The author never seems to bring home his "recommended" Paris souvenirs and gifts. So in this post I've tried to reach beyond these cheesy souvenir lists. My own experiences; friends A more comprehensive Parisian souvenir and gift shopping guide compiled by families and readers.

Although not all of these souvenirs are Paris-specific (some items are from other parts of France), all can easily be found in Paris. Some Parisian souvenir ideas are edible; Some are expensive and some are completely free: I've tried to cover the whole range, including gift ideas from Paris.

The beautiful Tiffany blue store front and sparkling chandeliers will draw you to Laduree. But the real treat is safely hidden behind a simple macaron glass. Not to be confused with the similar sounding but very different; coconut macaroon; The macaroon is delicate, a meringue-based cake.
1. French Macarons

I love macarons and beautiful scenery at Laduree, but Paris has many macaron shops (Pierre Hermes is also a reader favorite). Soap has been made in France since the Middle Ages. It is not actually made in Paris. You will find many soaps from all over France, including famous pubs from Provence and Marseille.

Or you can skip the fancy brands out there and opt for this cheap bar of soap from the supermarket (about €1.50). Available in various scents, My favorite is savon au lait (milk) with orange blossom. (For more French supermarket souvenir ideas, see my post here ).
Tie your supermarket French soap from the craft store with a ribbon and voila, you have a worthy gift for yourself. Shakespeare and Company is a well-known English-language foreign bookstore a stone's throw from Notre Dame. Once frequented by writers and artists such as Hemingway and Fitzgerald, the shop retains its charm and remains largely unchanged.
2. French Soap Souvenir

Buy a French classic and have the staff stamp the inside of the cover. No matter which country I go to, chocolate is always on my top list of souvenirs. Each country has its own way of making chocolate special. French chocolate is usually darker and stronger than Belgian or Swiss chocolate, which may contain more milk and cream.
But these days you'll find a variety of French chocolates, from milky to dark, whatever the flavor. When I was in Paris, I stopped by smaller chains like Maison du Chocolat (I have a few branches in New York City) and sought out unique local customers.

Some of my favorites are Benoit chocolates in the Marais and historic Debauve and Gallais at this delicious chocolate shop in the 4th arrondissement. In Paris, bakeries (called boulangeries en Francais) offer fixed baguettes. Unfortunately, Parisian baguettes have an incredibly short shelf life (a day at best) and are best at that moment.
3. Stamped Book From Shakespeare & Company
But taking a French baguette home with you makes no sense. You can bring baguette accessories as a souvenir. Polaine at a local boulangerie chain, cutting board to cut your baguette; We have an excellent selection of baguette-related souvenirs, including knives and custom cloth bags.
For those serious about their baguettes - a cutting board and a bread knife. If you are a fan of Picasso, You may have noticed that he spent many of his days in Paris and got a lot of his inspiration here. On my last trip to Paris I visited the Picasso Museum and loved it.
The museum is located in a magnificent mansion, and is worth a visit alone. Pick up a Picasso souvenir in the neat gift shop. Founded in 1854, Mariage Freres is a unique blend of teas and the best place to buy tea in Paris. However, tea lovers will love this shop. The beautiful design of the shop, They even love the way they make tea, where they love the beautiful design with the black tin plates that adorn the walls.
