Gift Ideas For A Professor
Gift Ideas For A Professor - As a teacher, I constantly receive thank you gifts from my students. My favorite gift idea for a professor is a book set with globe and telescope (see my review). I will never forget those students who gave me thoughtful, caring gifts. So, it's time to share with you my idea of what could be a good gift as a token of appreciation to a teacher.

Gift Ideas For A Professor
It shouldn't be expensive. More importantly, the gift should show what you thought of your professor and what he might like or appreciate. Here's my list of teacher gifts you might want to consider this semester! About the Author: Hi, I'm Chris Drew (Ph.D.) and I manage business.
I am a university professor. As an Amazon affiliate, I earn on qualifying purchases. Okay, I want these. They will look super good in my office. The attention to detail on these bookends is great. The base and wall are books, and the coloring gives the impression that each of them was created personally.
A globe and a spyglass are also elegant additional props that should be in the office of a top professor. It would be nice for a professor with a dry sense of humor. Any teacher would read these jokes and laugh knowingly. These jokes must have been written by the teacher!
2. Teacher Joke Book
Your professor can leave it on his coffee table as a book for people to read while waiting to see him during office hours. Besides, they would probably share it in the hall of the faculty to have a laugh with all the other professors.

So this year I got them as a gift. And they were probably my favorite gift. They come in a great gift box for a really nice "unboxing" experience. Now I use them all the time when people come to me for a drink. I'm a big fan!
Plus, they're more affordable than you might think. Cravebok makes, in my opinion, the best grooming kits on the market today. They are not full of lower quality chocolate snacks. Instead, they are full of healthy foods that the professor can leave in his drawer for a few days when he forgets to have lunch.
Some of the snacks they come with include: vegetable chips, muesli bars, popcorn and fruit snacks. Cravebox care packages are also very affordable compared to some of the competition. Adult coloring books have become very popular in the last few years. These are coloring books that often have more complex designs than children's books.
4. Care Package
It's a professorial theme with tons of fun phrases that teachers will love. Note that there is a lot of foul language in this, so while I would really appreciate it from a student, make sure you give it to the professor with a sense of humor.
Professors spend a lot of time at their desks. A desktop organizer makes a great gift that will remind them of you every time they use it. The one listed above has many different features. There's also a cool wooden calendar, compartments to hold documents or mail, and space for stationery holders.

I love this wooden look! Like the other items on this list, I chose this one because of its great affordable price. Most professors carry a travel glass with them during the day. We are constantly moving from one class to another... then we go to meetings... then study guides with research students... then we start planning lessons... and, well, you get the idea.
We need travel mugs to keep our coffee warm while we're on the road. What I love about this is that you can customize it with your professor's name! Well, one day I received this gift from another professor. She told me it would be fun to use in student work.
5. ‘How Professors Swear’ Adult Coloring Book
She was right! My students loved getting stamps saying “great job!” at their jobs. It reminded them of elementary school and is a great topic for class discussion each semester. Really - teachers and students love it! Some of the stamp sets on Amazon have things about parenting consultations etc. that are not really appropriate for a professor.
But there is a nice group of general messages in this set that would work well for professors and adult students. Leather bound notebooks are an affordable and safe gift for your teacher. It's a stylish way to say "thank you" to your professor for all of his hard work and guidance.
We use notebooks all the time to take notes when we talk to students or during faculty meetings. I would recommend that you make this a quality gift, and not an ordinary paper notebook. If this leather-bound notebook doesn't suit you, but you still think it's a good gift idea, make sure it's a hardcover book.

I'm sure it won't surprise you that many teachers like to drink wine after work. The reason I chose the above wine glass is because it comes in a nice box, which makes it really "presentable" for... well, a gift. You can just wrap it up or put it in a pretty bag when you pass it to your professor.
6. Desk Organizer
Professors should host a wide variety of people in their offices: other professors, friends, students, parents, and dignitaries. I would like to have a series of starter talks that I would leave in my office for someone to come and read. I first encountered them at a dinner party and they were a real hit for making meaningful conversations.
A set of teacher coasters is a great gift idea for a professor. A set of coasters can be left on the table in the office and used when the professor has guests in his office. If you don't like the teacher-themed newspaper, don't worry, just buy some good ones!
As an alternative to the teacher-themed coaster set, you can purchase one special coaster with your professor's name, such as "Prof. Smith's coffee. You can also request a special message, such as "Thank you for being a great professor!" This is a great personalization of coaster gift idea.
The wireless presenter is a remote control that helps the professor move slides with one click. The one above also comes with a laser pointer so the professor can point to certain things on the slides after projecting them. I would love to have this!
