Here's what you need to know about using rewards points and store credit before stores close for good. Customers can still shop at Bed Bath & Beyond stores, but locations will begin closing on Wednesday, April 26. The online store and mobile app are still operational, though the company has not said whether those shopping options will remain open during the bankruptcy process.
Anyone who bought something online but didn't receive it will still have their order completed. Welcome Rewards (which is Bed Bath & Beyond's frequent purchase points program) and store credit will be accepted through May 15th. Gift cards will be valid until May 8 and coupons will be accepted until Wednesday.
Customers with a Bed Bath & Beyond Rewards+ credit card can still use it until stores close. But those with a Rewards+ Loyalty membership, which costs $29 a year, can't cancel for a refund. The Container Store also announced Wednesday, April 26, that for a limited time it will accept the "20% off one item" coupon from Bed Bath & Beyond.

The home goods chain filed on Sunday in US District Court in New Jersey and said it will begin an orderly winding down of its operations while it seeks a buyer for all or some of its businesses. In the bankruptcy filing, the retailer said it plans to close all of its stores by June 30.
For now, the company's 360 Bed Bath & Beyond stores and 120 Buy Buy Baby locations and websites will remain open to serve customers. However, there are some key dates if you want to avoid missing out on coupons, gift registries, gift cards and more.

On Wednesday, April 26, stores will no longer accept coupons as they begin deeply discounting items for the closeout sales that are scheduled to begin that day. You'll have a little more time to use gift cards, which will be honored by May 8, the company says.
Do you have credit from a previous return? Product credits can be redeemed until May 15, which is also the deadline for welcome rewards. Shoppers with Welcome Rewards+ credit cards can still use them at this time. Bed Bath & Beyond did not say when that might change.
