Gift Card Saver
Gift cards are often traded or their purchase price is lower than their retail value. Many people want cash and sell their gift cards for things like Checkout Saver discounts. While most sites charge 12%+ commission, Checkout Saver charges a very small percentage, leading to the best cards online.
From there, Checkout Saver gives users cards at checkout. The browser extension notifies the user when they have arrived at a supported payment page, such as shop.com/checkout, and an alert notifies the user that they can purchase and add a gift card to the transaction.
If the card is worth $50 and is purchased for $45, the user keeps $5. The Checkout Saver Chrome extension is only supported on desktop computers, but you can still get Checkout Saver's cashback functionality! To get money from your phone, use the site's Cash Back portal by searching for your favorite merchant and clicking "Activate Cashback".

1. Cashback
After this, you will be directed to the seller and you will be entitled to a refund in connection with the purchase. Unfortunately, coupons and Gift Cards are not currently available on mobile devices - they all incur an additional fee. But don't worry—we're hard at work creating a mobile app that lets you start saving on the go!
Getting cashback is easy. Just use our returns portal to find your retailer and click on the link to access the store with our returns link. When you use our links, we earn an affiliate commission when you make a purchase, which we pass on to you in cash back.
You can also install the Checkout Saver plugin to automate the process. Instead of using Checkout Saver first, shop as you normally would, and the plugin will pop up and notify you when you land on a supported merchant site. The cashback process is long and unfortunately I cannot speed it up.
We pay you as soon as the seller pays us (one day), but the process can take up to 45 days (usually faster). We start tracking refunds on the same day or within a few days of your purchase - we'll also wait for the seller to confirm and notify you when they do.
2. Discount Gift Cards
We'll keep an eye on your refund in the meantime - we're happy to save you money! Checkout Saver offers several convenient options for withdrawing money. Discount gift cards are gift cards that can be purchased for less than the face value. For example, a $20 Target gift card available for $15 is a discounted gift card.
Checkout Saver offers such cards that are on sale through a browser extension. You can buy a valuable gift card using the Checkout Saver Chrome extension. When you use Chrome to browse the web, the extension will pop up to let you know if a tax-deductible gift card is available for purchase when you reach a supported merchant.
Alternatively, you can search for cards using the add-on's search function. We currently do not support purchasing cards on the website itself. The recommended payment method is to buy a gift card from your account, which is guaranteed to be money back. We also support PayPal and credit card payments.
After you have purchased the card, the information is displayed in the additional interface for copying and pasting directly to the checkout page. We will also send you the information by email and store it in your account for future reference. Checkout Saver offers coupons that are available through a browser extension.
