This month has two important dates that celebrate women. International Women's Day and Mother's Day, so we decided to pay tribute to the wonderful female team members, suppliers and organizers we work with. Laura and Rachel are the core couple (and sisters!) who, between them, give Curioser so much direction and character.
She is supported by a group of creative women on her staff. This contributes to the behavior of our stores. With the added bonus of making our stores look great. Thank you for visiting our little shop. Every purchase you make makes a real difference.

Like the city itself, many of the shops and boutiques here are unique and have many beautiful crafts, crafts, accessories and gift items that you can't find anywhere else. Today, I'd like to list 10 cute stores that offer unique gift lines (in no particular order).
In addition to their beauty and uniqueness, these shops are also important because they all support the community of independent local makers by giving them an opportunity to showcase their work. I tried to write a shop in every central neighborhood (and a couple not so central) that you should visit anyway because of its beauty.
I've also included a little note on the shops you can browse later in Workshop Six. Located in the heart of Stockbridge, one of Edinburgh's most dreamy towns, this spacious gift shop offers homeware, furniture and gifts made locally in Scotland. Every square centimeter of this store is filled with accessories, prints, jewelry, magnets, greeting cards, etc.
You can get it for yourself or for your loved ones. You're sure to take home something beautiful and reminiscent of Edinburgh with the items found in this store. The Victorian alley in the Old Town is said to be the inspiration for Harry Potter's famous "Diagon Alley".
Like it or not, it is an attractive street of colorful shops and "The Red Door Gallery" is one of them. It is an independent art gallery that hosts contemporary art prints, paintings, jewelry and designer accessories. There are many different things made by different local artists.

It was originally established in St. Andrews (another beautiful city in Scotland) 1983, Bonkers is an independent gift shop on Hanover Street in the heart of Edinburgh, selling gifts, cards, stationery, jewellery, toys, home and personal accessories. Don't miss out on shopping at major retailers nearby.
Bruntsfield is one of Edinburgh's prettiest neighborhoods and is mostly residential but the main street, Bruntsfield Place, is full of cute little cafes and shops. Raf Edinburgh is one of those small shops, stocking beautiful gifts from over 50 independent Scottish producers. The product range includes jewellery, skin care, homeware and many other gift items and all are handmade.
Easter Street, located just a short walk from the city centre, is therefore a hidden gem in Edinburgh, full of artisan cafes, bakeries and shops. Cloud 9 is the beginning of this long road, although it is a small shop, it has many gifts and house plants.
Operating since 1981 with two shops (Lothian Road and Stafford Street) in the West End area of Edinburgh, Paper Tiger offers well known cards, stationery, wrapping and gifts from newly established Edinburgh and UK based artists. All products are carefully selected and include a wide selection of creative cards, beautiful stationery, gifts, toys, books and rolls.
They proudly represent local Scottish work in both Edinburgh shops. Located at the end of Leith Walk, Logan Malloch showcases modern Scottish design, prints, plants, books and local makers. They have gift items from over 50 artists, craftspeople and makers based in Scotland. The shop is far from the centre, so you need to take a 30 minute walk along Edinburgh's unique Leith Walk and find yourself in the famous city of Leith.

Although it is named 'New Town', since the city does not appear to be new, Edinburgh's New Town was established in the 18th and 19th centuries (the New Town rather than the Old Town). It has a unique architecture compared to the Old Town buildings with Victorian-style windows and elegant townhouses.
Broughton Street in Newtown is home to some lovely little shops and Curious is one of them. They offer a variety of styles including graphic prints, jewelry and home furnishings with an emphasis on good design and bright colors. They support local designers where they can, so most of their artwork is in England, mostly in Edinburgh.
Located in the Haymarket, Edinburgh's West End, and founded by an independent designer, Pippin Gifts showcases established brands as well as emerging British design talent and aims to bring together products that have never been seen before in Edinburgh. Not seen. It sells jewelry, cards, gifts, homewares and more, and offers friendly service.
This small shop in southwest Edinburgh offers colorful and fun gifts. It is an independent gift, home decor inspired and lifestyle shop with beautiful Scottish cards and gifts. Morningside is another beautiful town that is not so central to Edinburgh and if you are not on a full Edinburgh tour, the town is full of lovely shops and cafes.
Don't forget to visit this cute little gift shop while you're there. Although this is not an independent gift shop in the usual sense, I wanted to include the University of Edinburgh Gift Shop for two reasons: first, it showcases University of Edinburgh products (dah!), which
