Three new book facts were revealed by D&D Beyond yesterday, giving us a taste of the draconic powers that will soon be bestowed upon us. Each ability is based on a "gift" from a specific dragon type that changes their typical traits. The Noble Dragon Gift is designed to mimic the psionic abilities of a shimmering serpent.
This feat adds +1 to the player character's Intelligence, Wisdom, or Charisma, and allows you to fire a blast of telekinetic energy in response, dealing 2d8 force damage and pushing enemies up to 10 feet away. Due to the boost to any of the three casting stats, the feat seems suitable for all magical classes, but may be best for battle mages who like to stick to the plate.

The gift of the Chromatic Dragon, meanwhile, overcomes the strong opposition of the colored dragons. With this feat, player characters use their reflexes to resist acid, cold, fire, lightning, or poison. In addition, you can also use a bonus action once per long rest to add an additional 1d4 elemental damage for 1 minute to a normal or melee weapon.

Finally, the Metal Dragon Chapter provides helpful buffs, taking advantage of the dragon's generally good nature. Courage allows you to cast one-shot healing wounds on long rest, while also allowing you to play Spectral Dragon Wings, which when used as a reaction can increase the target's AC by an equal amount.
Free spells will be useful for every character - and you can be thankful that the Cleric part isn't just called for healing anymore - and dragon wings are also universal. The D&D Beyond article points out that players can obtain these gems as a gift from a powerful patron, a reward for their adventure, or as a result of a draconic legacy.
In any case, while the possibilities are definitely dragon-themed, they apply to many D&D settings. These facts aren't the only Fizban Dragons treasure previews we have.
