Delta Airlines Gift Card Discount - A Facebook post from April 10 (direct link, archive link) claims that women of a certain age can take advantage of a big promotion from one of the country's biggest airlines. The post says "Delta first class seats are usually empty". "Delta is offering $1,000 Delta Credits to women over 40 to fill these seats! Answer 4 questions and get $1,000."

The post has been shared more than 50 times in less than two weeks. Other versions of the claim garnered hundreds of additional shares. Follow us on Facebook! Like our page to get updates on our latest discoveries throughout the day Delta Air Lines does not offer such a promotion.
The posts are fraudulent and the website directs Facebook users to answer a series of questions and provide personal information. None of the sites promoting the alleged promotion are affiliated with Delta. No such offer is listed on Delta's official social media accounts, website or communications.
Pages promoting the promotion do not have the blue check mark Facebook uses to identify real brand accounts and can be viewed on Delta's official Facebook page. They were also created the day the fake posts came out, which is another sign of illegitimacy. Links in posts direct Facebook users to a non-Delta website, which asks them a series of questions and then asks them to choose one of 12 gift boxes.

After selecting a card with a gift card in it, you will be asked for personal information such as phone number and mailing address. Although the special promotion mentioned in the posts is false, the airline sometimes offers cash to passengers. The customer liability policy states that in the event of a sold flight, the airline will offer compensation to those who voluntarily give up their seats.

The offer allows customers to choose from a selection of gift cards that include Delta gift cards that can be used to book future flights. As reported by USA TODAY, in 2022, passengers reported that the airline was offering $10,000 to anyone who did so on a sold-out flight from Michigan to Minnesota.
USA TODAY previously refuted a similar claim that Amtrak was giving unpaid annual leave to women aged 40 and over. USA TODAY reached out to Delta and users who shared the claim for comment, but did not receive an immediate response. Thank you for supporting our journalism.

In November 2019, Costco launched discount Delta gift cards and they positively flew off the shelves. Now this promotion is back and available online for those fast enough. Sign up for our daily newsletter for more TPG news delivered to your inbox every morning. Customers can purchase up to three gift cards and all sales are final.
Although we have not seen it in our stocks yet, if there is a campaign like last year, we should see it in our stores as soon as possible. If you are purchasing these Delta gift cards in stock, you can only use a Visa card.

However, use Visa cards to get the most return on your purchase. Here are some options: US Bank Altitude Reserve Visa Infinite Card -- Costco accepts mobile payments and so happens this US Bank credit card gives 3 points per dollar on mobile wallet spend.

If you purchase up to three gift cards worth $449.99 each, you'll get about $27. Keep in mind that you get discount vouchers once a year and they just arrive in members' mailboxes, so you'll have to wait until next fall for a discount on Delta gift cards purchased this month.

Which Card Should You Use To Buy Costco's Delta Gift Card?
