Vendor Square opened its new location on March 1 at 318 Delaware Ave. According to owner Matthew Banks, the smaller space better reflects the style of the store. From home decor, jewelry and art to honey, spices and barbecue sauce, the store features products from more than 30 different local vendors.
Another reason we wanted to move here is the small town feel and what we have here," said Matthew Banks, owner of Seller's Square. "We've had a lot of friendly locals come and check out the store, and they've all been so welcoming." The shop sells a range of locally produced products which are put out every week by different vendors.
Owner Matthew Bank encourages members of the community to check out the store, which he says "gives people who love arts and crafts a space to sell their products without having to run their own store." The vendor space will host its first class on May 23 at the new location, hosted by Cheryl's Creative Cookies, where pre-registered participants will decorate patriotic cookies.
