Newsom said businesses such as clothing, flower shops, bookstores and sporting goods stores will be given the green light to open by the end of the week, as long as they adhere to social distancing guidelines, which means curbside pickup and delivery. However, restaurants serving dinner, shopping centers and offices will remain closed.
