Choose a weapon without a socket to add a socket using this item. This item is destroyed in the process. Weapons can only be upgraded once, and it doesn't allow two sockets on a weapon. Note that the Ramalatni gift can only be used on weapons obtained after patch 2.0.

One is to prevent Greater Rifts from creating enough enemies to fill the progress bar.
