You can always create tabs with your Clover Station by using the Register app's pre-authorization feature. The Authorization application allows you to check if a customer's payment card has enough funds for a transaction. You can load the final amount and complete the payment when you are ready.

When you're done with business for the day, use the Closeout app to close for the day. It puts every card transaction of the day into a batch, which you can see as a report to see how much business you did during the day.
Rewards App
You can also use the Closeout app to see if you have any tips or tabs open. The Transaction Application records the type of tender used in the transaction, the name of the cardholder, which employee took the transaction, and which device handled the transaction.
You can also refund transactions, add tips to a transaction, or create a new transaction receipt. Transaction Applications treat a transaction as a payment. To view details of multi-payment orders or refund individual split payments, use the Orders application. The Order Application is available if you are on the Lite Enrollment Plan, Enrollment Plan, or Classic Plan.
Reports keep you informed about the financial condition of your business. These 4 reports can be found on the Web Dashboard with all Clover devices: You can only find these 4 additional reports on the Web Dashboard. You can use the Orders app to track every order you take on your Clover devices.

If you have multiple devices, the Order app will record orders from each device. Record keeping isn't the only thing you can use the Order app for. Any orders made that have not been filled will be saved in the Orders application. You can then use the Order application to reopen, add payment, refund, or delete an order.
Clover Promos App
You can transact securely using the Sell app. No inventory is required to use this app and you can also get cash back from gift cards and EBT cards. You can use the Refund application to refund a previous transaction or issue a manual refund.
Manual refund requires a payment card from the customer. If you want to refund individual items in an order or exchange one item for another, use the Orders application. The Order Application is available if you are on the Lite Enrollment Plan, Enrollment Plan, or Classic Plan.
Sometimes you may be required to provide a voice authorization code to complete a transaction. For example, you have a transaction with a very high amount of money or the payment card that was used is considered at risk. You can use the Voice Auth app to enter a voice authorization code to approve and complete the transaction.
Customers do not have to be in your store for you to receive payment from them. You can use the Sell Phone app to pay with the phone. Employee apps help you keep track of your employees. You can create employee profiles to manage their access to your Clover devices and assign employee roles to determine what they can do on your device.
