In 2019, millennials' favorite pink makeup brand finally rewarded our pop-up obsession with a permanent store on 10th Avenue in the Pike/Pine Center. Yes, the store carries the brand's signature youth make-up (and the soon-to-be-promised skincare, Cloud Paint movement—everything you need to feel fresh-faced). It's also a complete immersion into Glossier's fantasy world, where we all live on a moss-covered river meadow with dewy skin.
Butter Home seems like an apt name for a cozy little interior design store in Melrose Market that looks like grandma's attic. This 366-square-foot rooftop shop is filled with reclaimed wood furniture, fine china, vintage-style glassware, and fun knick-knacks, including flowers and decorative balls made from recycled newsprint.

Stock up on eco-friendly local handmade clothing and spread the love. Accessed through what looks like a secret passageway next to Marmite, this delightful collection of storefronts has recently undergone a major makeover, allowing new tenants to dazzle passers-by with their wares, edibles and more.

While most opt for food and drink, or perhaps an ice cream from Sweet Alchemy, don't miss a visit to From Typhoon's gallery pop-up or the children's collaboration between Bootyland and Two Owls. This mainstay has moved a bit, but its new home on the corner is the perfect place on the busy street to shop for contemporary womenswear.
The excitement is real. Artists and celebrities passing through Seattle stop by Bait to check out the hottest collections—Nike, limited-edition collaborations, cartoony streetwear. Co-owner and buyer Ashley Buzacca has turned her passion for vintage hunting into this upscale shop on Capitol Hill. From trips to San Francisco, New York, and Los Angeles, she brought home merchandise, jewelry, art, clothing, and accessories.
Buzacca and co-owner Ryan Darcy don't just carry things of love; they also work with local artists and designers and sell contemporary pieces. The revived (again) bookstore on 10th has been a Capitol Hill fixture for nearly 50 years, albeit underground since 2008. Thankfully, the print shop isn't dead yet, just tucked away on the ramp, sandwiched between a tattoo parlor and yoga.

studio. The company's Australian headquarters may be thousands of miles away, but its corner on Capitol Hill fits the bill (there's also one in Fremont). Dry skin is universal. That's why this apothecary-like store, with its product-testing sinks and skin care — body washes, hand creams, fragrances — feels like a little spa oasis.
This men's and women's store in Melrose Market looks like your coolest friend's apartment, with vines, a well-stocked bar, charcoal soap in the bathroom and a dresser full of built-in denim. Alice Furoyama and Forest Ackley opened Glasswing in 2014, specializing in cool, fresh threads (think Mara Hoffman, Norse Projects' Danish staples) as well as handmade jewelry.

On the corner of Melrose and East Olive Way, not far away, is a sister plant store, Glasswing Greenhouse. This place is really different from the other vintage ateliers on this list: no kitsch decor, no time-polished decorations, no 1920s or 1990s hangers. No, this Capitol Hill store is much more specific, with pristine vintage snapbacks, often with tags still attached, for the Huskies, Chicago Bulls or Seattle Sonics.
There are also baseball and basketball uniforms, collectible pendants and bomber jackets with team logos. Stock up on ready-to-wear basics that won't fall apart on you like some of the fast fashion chain's offerings. Standard Goods specializes in contemporary, American-made clothing for men and women, regardless of the season.
Sway And Cake
Inside this brick-walled 1920s building (firehouse until 1970), restored vintage furniture and industrial chic await, with modern homewares and jewelry to complement it all. This is not your typical pharmacist; it's also the place to satisfy your sweet tooth and look for pink Himalayan salt.
Still looking to soothe that chill? Check out Northwest Herbal Cold and Flu Homemade Blend made with ingredients like elderberry, aloe leaf, mullein and more. For those without medication, SugarPill also offers prepackaged soaps, perfumes, pantry exclusives, and greeting cards. The arrival of rain and cold does not mean that you have to walk under a tarp.
Freeman's lightweight jackets, durable hoodies and classic boots create the perfect look to survive the elements. Not only is his showroom beautiful, but this shop off Olive Way is full of pretty pinks, ivory lace and rich fabrics. Find tweed ties and bottom ties in the Mainland department;

For women's clothing, there are embellished dresses with spots, tulle of all shades, underwear, jumpsuits, you name it. At the same time, the sibling bridal store has a large collection of boho dresses and wedding styles for all brides. Last summer, the styling and decorating service opened a casual showroom where owner Colton Dixon Winger can showcase his curated collection of upcycled designer clothing and home goods.

Check back often as Winger is constantly adding new items to the floor. Fat Joe is fed up with the medical industry ripping off his patients by forcing them to pay unfair prices...he flies from New York to Washington, DC. to do something about it!!!
TMZ Hip Hop caught up with Don Cartagena when he visited Capitol Hill to introduce Power for Patients ... a non-profit organization that targets the hidden costs of healthcare. As we reported earlier this week, Joe will be in town this weekend alongside Busta Rhymes, French Montana and Rick Ross for a special PTTP-led concert to get the attention of millionaire nonprofit executives.
and other related crap ... but today it's not like that at all!!! We also heard Joe's speech as he addressed the crowd as a proud Bronx native, but criticized the economic forces that hold black people back...likening their cries for help to be as effective as "a dog barking at the moon."
