More Museum History operates the Gift Shop No. 26 at Dam House and another gift shop at the History Center. Volunteers work in both gift shops. The Launch Gift Shop, Building 26, is generally open seven days a week from 13:00 to 14:30. The History Center Gift Shop is open during the hours indicated.

All proceeds from gift shop sales benefit the Missile Museum Fund and museum operations, which are used to restore the Air Force Base and Exhibit. The gift shop has books, DVDs, quest patches, t-shirts, hats and unique items not found anywhere else. Notable items include 45th Space Wing Coins and Patches Coins, US Air Force Souvenirs.
If you can't visit one of their gift shops, the Foundation also has an online gift shop where you can order many of the same items from their Museum and History Center location. The United States Air Force Space and Missile Museum Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization.

Located in the middle of the US Space Gateway, this sign is owned by the US Space Force and is maintained by the US Coast Guard as an active aid to navigation.
Visits to the lighthouse, museum, and gift shop are by pre-arranged tours only. Open meetings for CCFSS staff are held every Wednesday from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm. Hangar C will also be open during these hours. We are available for regular tours, but you cannot drive to the facility as we are located in an active military facility.

Members of the public have access only to tours that must be booked at least two days in advance to pass through area security. Regular servicemen with a CAC card may come to the station and visit the lighthouse, but cannot accompany tagged visitors without SLD 45 approval.
Unlike many other military installations, a retired military ID does not give you access to CCSFS. You must use public transport. See our Visit page for travel information. Donations of $50 or more will also receive beautiful glass ornaments of lighthouses and Fresnel lenses. The Fresnel lens is an important part of Cape Canaveral Lighthouse history. After the Civil War and the lighthouse's relocation in 1893-94, Cape Canaveral used a number 4 lens.

Our 1st order lens remained at the top of the tower until 1868 when the Coast Guard lifted it due to vibrations from rocket launches.
