I put $395 on the card to pay the bill, downloaded the app, set everything up, and was never able to log in again. Called to pay my bill for $385 and it was declined due to insufficient funds. Tried going into the app, tried calling customer service, couldn't get through, so luckily my car loan service kept running the card until we got the amount we needed.
380 ended up being the winner. Now my question is where did that other $15 go? I added all the costs and couldn't get anywhere near the associated fees because I haven't made any purchases yet. So the card I just got in the mail with my name on it is already in the trash!
I strongly recommend that no one gets this card. I also live in a small town and spoke to management about where I purchased the cards and they suggested removing these cards. I'm sure they do. I used NetSpend years ago and it was great.

I highly recommend NetSpend!! So I bought this card at Rite Aid to pay the bill. I registered it, when I went to activate it it found wrong user data. I contacted customer service and they asked me about 100 questions. My social, date of birth, address, mother's maiden name.

I had to fax them the front of my social security card. They couldn't verify my identity because I don't exist or I'm lying. After many days and many calls they finally told me that I have punched another number in my social registration. I did everything carefully and I don't think I made a mistake on my social.
So now they put my card on hold after loading it with 100 dollars, I can't even pay my light bill like I wanted to. I thought this card would make paying my bills easier, but it made everything worse. Don't waste your time with this card.
They falsely advertise that you can use the card immediately, but it takes 3 to 5 days to use and I'm waiting another week. Zero stars is good for customer service. Don't forget to buy a gift card from Vanilla! This is the biggest scam!
