Bigfoot Hideaway Motel & Gift Shop - When considering this review, firstly keep in mind that this is a motel in the Upper Peninsula (not in the main downtown area) and secondly, it's only $50 a night. If you're a Bigfoot fan, you should check it out just for the gift and gift shop.

We are not Bigfoot fans, but we like to explore different places and this motel is one of them. The lady in charge of the owner's desk (they were away) was very friendly and helpful. He found us a place to park our trailer and was a great source of information about local food.
The office is also a gift shop and a place to buy coffee and breakfast. We lived in a double room. The rooms are small but clean. The towels were nice and the beds were comfortable. They provide free Wi-Fi and there was a fridge in the room.

The water was good. Our room had a gas heater next to the double bed (it would fit, but it would be difficult for an adult). If there is an open flame and I have to admit I am so worried about carbon monoxide that I have left the window open at the head of the bed at night.
Overall it was a pleasant overnight stay and perfect for our needs. Maybe it would have felt busy if you stayed longer.More This place is very clean, comfortable beds, great location, and their hospitality and customer service is the best I have ever experienced. Plus the price is good and they give you the Bigfoot experience and treat you like family.
We stayed here in the middle of our bike tour. Thank you very much! recently renovated rooms and beds, great owners, you never know you might see Big Foot in the living room, coffee and sometimes a special breakfast... the local bar has the best pizza (ask the owner to help you find it), , subway
