New Season Pass 6 introduces the latest DLC character addition, Minato Namikaze (re-animated). We've got some helpful tips on how to get the upper hand when playing with this character, including some tricks on how to play on the newly revamped map! Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker has explored many themes through its seasonal updates.
The theme of this Season Pass is "Chronicle", which is a fitting representation of this latest playable character. Minato Namikaze is very important to the series, as he is Naruto Uzumaki's father and Boruto Uzumaki's grandfather, and is essentially the beginning of their story. Minato chose to protect his village of Konoha, paying with his life and forever influencing his family's fate for generations to come.
He returned to the series during the Great Ninja War, resurrected to fight the Second Hokage. While his time in the living world was fleeting, Minato managed to celebrate Naruto's 17th birthday and bid him a final farewell before returning to the afterlife in one of the series' most emotional moments.

Minato Namikaze is a playable character introduced in Season Pass 1 as an attack class type who can freely manipulate distance and engage aggressively in close range encounters.

In Season Pass 6, Minato Namikaze (re-animated) is a defense class, though he's much better than you'd expect. He excels at supporting his team, as he saved the Ninja Alliance in the Great Ninja War. Like his Season Pass 1 counterpart, Minato Namikaze (re-animation) can use the Flying Raijin Jutsu, which allows him to cover large areas over long distances.
He is adept at everything from high mobility to taking on groups of enemies to protecting his allies. His versatility makes him an asset to any team. In addition, each of his ninjutsu can be built into "Kurama Link Mode". Activate this technique to improve your speed, attack power, ninjutsu recovery, and healing (bonus: allies within Kurama Link Mode activation range will also share some of these improvements)!
Don't forget to use a finishing move before this mode ends or you might lose an instant KO of your opponents. Despite his flexibility and many powers, Minato Namikaze (Revival) can struggle in some areas. His offensive power is very low, and he is not the most practical to engage in one-on-one battles.

To make up for these weaknesses, be sure to master his powerful Ninjutsu and demonstrate the power of the Fourth Hokage, once known as the "Yellow Flash of Leaves" on the battlefield! This is a super-fast surprise attack that applies the Flying Raijin Jutsu, throwing multiple kunai and firing a flurry of discs around the enemy.
TIP: This attack affects a wide area and surrounds a large number of enemies. The true value of this ninjutsu is shown when used against opponents in a fight situation. Unleash the Celestial Air Slice Type-Zero to turn the tables on pressure from cornered or nearby attackers!
Use this ninjutsu to nullify the long range attacks of your enemies. This technique places a space-time ninjutsu ward in the area where it is activated, neutralizing most enemy projectile attacks within its range. Tip: By placing it around important objects like scrolls, flags or pillars, this ninjutsu can provide your team with strong support and an extra layer of protection!
It is especially effective against various class types. Counterattack against opponents who are too close. It is an extremely powerful series of attacks that combine the Shadow Clone Jutsu and the Flying Raijin Jutsu. Minato throws a wave of kunai, and upon contact it results in a devastating finisher!

Previously, this map had two different layouts - one half of the map was covered with tall buildings and winding corridors, and the other half was a wide open, flooded area. The new map makes some big changes by taking buildings to the surface, making open areas harder to access.
This can make crossings and battles even more intense as your opponents can be in any corner (or above you)! Another notable addition to Hidden Village (Updated) is a new pipe system that runs around almost the entire perimeter of the map. These pipes can be used to move around the environment if you want to avoid traveling through groups of buildings and reduce the risk of surprise ambushes.

On the other hand, pipes can be useful for straight fights as neither you nor your opponent will have much of a height advantage in these confined spaces. Perhaps the biggest change in Hidden Rain Village (Updated) is the new teleportation devices scattered throughout the environment.

Blue units will guide you vertically across rooftops, or down streets and flooded corridors. In contrast, yellow units are designed for sideways movement and send you to the corresponding yellow units. Use teleportation to cover long distances quickly, or to surprise your enemies, or escape from them.
These new changes to Hidden Rain Village (Updated) offer more opportunities for travel and strategy and will undoubtedly make matchups more exciting!
