Based in Ann Arbor, Michigan, Gift of Life is Michigan's only federally accredited tissue regeneration program. Gift of Life Michigan is a non-profit organization dedicated to connecting transplant centers, hospitals and donors throughout Michigan. Originally founded in 1971 to create a network for transplant surgeons to share kidneys;
Gift of Life today recovers nearly 1,000 organs for transplant from hundreds of donors in Michigan each year. This organization works 24 hours a day to save lives. In addition to kidneys, Gift of Life Michigan works with Eversight Michigan to regenerate bone, skin and other tissues, and to donate ears and eyes.
