having problems using the membership certificate in the store. However, I can't say the same for online gift vouchers. When I tried to buy coupons online with our points, we had no trouble getting the coupons. They show as purchased and acceptable. When we tried to use it he explained that he had sent me a confirmation email.
First of all, I'm not sure why I need a confirmation email to redeem a certificate that's already available for use. Second, I never received the email! We've implemented a few times and have received a number of flashes indicating a confirmation email is being sent but received nothing.
My guess is that so long ago I opted out of GameStop promotional emails. I'm still getting emails from GameStop… just not promotional emails. This should have been done before becoming a proclub member. Even after explaining this to the customer service rep NOBODY provided a solution to the problem.
They told me to use my computer and not my phone. Finished! They asked me to check the spam/trash folder in my email account. Finished! We have been referred through agent after agent with no solution to date. It's frustrating. We will never sign up for a pro club again!
