Step 1: Find The Amazon Gift Card Claim Code
This method allows you to scan your gift card instead of entering the code manually. To get started, open the Amazon app on your phone. Tap the user icon in the bottom bar of the app. On the user page that opens, scroll down to the "Gift Card Balance" section.
Here you press "Redeem gift card". A "Redeem a Gift Card" page will open. On this page you have two ways to add your card to your account. To redeem your card manually, press the field "Enter request code" and enter your card request code. Then tap on "Apply to your balance".
