Wizard Of Oz Gift Ideas
A modern day fairy tale with a distinctly American feel, an intelligent and confident heroine, and interesting characters, the story was very popular and became a classic of children's literature. However, by the end of the 20th century the 1939 film The Wizard of Oz was already more popular than the book it was based on.
Dorothy is a young woman who lives in a one-room house in Kansas with her caring Uncle Henry and Aunt Em; the joy of his life is his dog, Toto. A tornado suddenly arrives, and when Dorothy grabs Toto, she can't reach where the storm is.
They are still at home when a tornado takes him on a long journey. When she finally gets home, Dorothy discovers that she is in a beautiful country inhabited by very short and strangely dressed people. The Witch of the North tells him that he is in the land of the Munchkins, who thanks him for killing the evil Witch of the East (the house fell to the witch), thus freeing them.

On the long journey to the Emerald City, Dorothy and Toto are joined by the Scarecrow, who wishes her to be sane; Tin Woodman, yearning for a heart; and the Cowardly Lion, who needs courage. They face many trials on their way, but they overcome them all, always thanks to the good sense of the Scarecrow, the kindness of the Tin Woodman and the bravery of the Cowardly Lion.
Finally they arrive at the Emerald City, where the Gate Keeper puts on green glasses and leads them to the Palace of Oz. Oz tells them that no mercy will be granted until the Wicked Witch of the West is killed. The companions go to the land of the Winks, ruled by the Wicked Witch of the West.
The witch sends wolves, crows, bees and armed Winkies to stop them, all to no avail. So use your Gold Cap to summon the Winged Monkeys. The winged monkeys destroy the Scarecrow and the Tin Woodman and cage the Cowardly Lion, but bring Dorothy and Toto to the witch, who enslaves Dorothy.
