Worth checking out! A place reminiscent of old New England. Excellent food, homely atmosphere and friendly hosts. They also serve breakfast, but I was only there for lunch. They have sandwiches, wraps and salads. My favorite is Kay's green salad with grilled chicken. You place your order at the counter and they bring it to you.
There is a cute little gift shop to browse while you wait, and in warm weather they have outdoor seating. They're right across the street from the railroad tracks, so you can work off your calorie intake! Homemade bread and fresh ingredients are a must.
The customers are fun and I love that it's pet friendly. I love that my teenage son comes here with me. Delicious daily menu options plus special offers are always an added surprise. John can cook! Even the coffee is fantastic. Try Jamaican-me-crazy. Love this place for Sunday breakfast or dinner on the way home.

more Very friendly environment. The ladies who waited on us were very nice. The food was delicious. My daughter and I had an egg salad sandwich that was perfectly seasoned and served with delicious bread. It also had a very good pickle on the side and a bag of...chips.
My mom said there was a bowl of homemade pea soup that she said was the best!! It has a general store in the back I love it!!! There were all sorts of special things in it. From handmade pottery to greeting cards to bottles of local maple syrup.
You will definitely not be disappointed. More I went here for my mother's birthday. I ate a meatball and it was very good. Everyone seemed to be enjoying their sandwiches at the table. I got the gluten free chocolate cake and it was amazing. The staff was very nice and sweet to my children.
I will definitely come back to try other things on their menu. more The food is always good and fresh and at reasonable prices. Friendly atmosphere and staff are always helpful. My husband and I eat here often and the food and service is excellent.
My husband loves the turkey sandwich so much he gets it almost all the time! Chicken Caesar wraps are also very good, as is the Rueben. All together with... pickles and a bag of chips. Iced tea is freshly brewed. Breakfasts are also good. It is run by a local family and Kay greets customers by name.

A wonderful gift shop with great prices and a great place to just stop, relax and enjoy! more Been coming here for years, breakfast and lunch, love it!!!! my son loves their french toast! After living here for a few years I finally stopped in to see what this restaurant had to offer.
We had two wraps (buffalo chicken and blitz) and both were delicious. The atmosphere is like a small town store, but sweeter and... the people are very friendly. I highly recommend checking this place out with the family and sitting outside on a beautiful day.
We will go back. more We've wanted to try this place for a while, but it always seemed like it was Monday when they were closed. We finally hit the right spot and stopped for lunch. They offer a selection of sandwiches along with some soups.
We ordered a chicken salad sandwich and a grilled vegetable wrap. Both tasted like sandwiches. The place is small, only a few tables. You order at the counter and the food is delivered to your table. The people who work there are friendly and greet us as soon as we walk in the door.

If people knew how good this place is... it would be even more crowded. But the owners are so lovely, I want to know how special this place really is. The food is always fresh and always delicious. All my kids love this place. We took my father in law this summer, he is born and raised in New England and he said it was the best clam chowder ever!!
My teenage son just said that sweet potato maple syrup is the perfect dessert. Gingerbread with flourishes was a family favorite. They offer plenty of healthy snacks as well as homemade comfort food. You order when you walk in and they bring your food. They cook good food and the restaurant is fun.
I love the little gift shop. It's a great place for tourists to pick up a small gift or souvenir, but as a local I love it too. I like to play tourist when I'm there. The restaurant is casual and small, so the tables can fill up, but there is plenty of space outside in good weather and I have a picnic blanket in the trunk if all the tables are full.
Kids love it because they don't have to sit at the table! It's so close to the Windham Rail Trails that it's a perfect getaway. The food here is amazing. It's a little out of the way, but worth the trip if you're within a 20 mic radius.
I almost always get Kay's Chicken Salad, it's amazing. They also have out-of-this-world Thanksgiving turkey sandwiches. Place also serves breakfast, which is good, but lunch is better. Windham Kitchen never disappoints! Very relaxed atmosphere, but they are not relaxed about the food. Always fun and homemade.
