This is a great place to visit and enjoy American history and the development of bourbon. The gift shop is filled with souvenirs of your trip and has many fun souvenirs. The tasting room is small but adequate and we learned about a new drink made by Wild Turkey.
Our favorite today is American Honey, but both are good. Wild turkey Distillery has a great gift shop, amazing, fun, funny and informative. And the best view we saw in KY. Our guide gave all the history and enjoyed us all during the experience. She gives examples of recipes to make with Wild Turkey.

I really like American honey. We tasted American honey at the bar and bought a bottle to take home. Good bourbon. Make sure you include this on your Bourbon Trail tour. Amenities and a large gift shop. Enjoy your choice of bourbon in a beautiful outdoor setting.
Check out the drink menu in the photos available today on my trip We only went to the park, but they have bourbon to drink, a clean display, and an amazing view. Very friendly staff. He tasted it. The tour was sold out that day.
The place is amazing. There are many warehouses. A good place to visit. Amazing views, and a delicious bourbon tasting. If you're hitting different distilleries, don't miss this one. We visited 8 distilleries in 5 days, and Wild Turkey was a favorite of all four of us in our group.
I can't recommend it enough. Meeting Jimmy Russell was the highlight of our entire trip. We didn't have a reservation, but we wanted to stop and see the buildings, drink at the bar, and get our KY Bourbon Trail passport stamps. When we handed over the passport, the employee behind the employee stamped the passport, but he refused to sign, saying "We didn't do it".

As of this day, we have already reached at least 10 places along the way. I asked if there was a pin or a sticker...he repeated "We don't do that." I said as part of the passport program, they have to give something. He ignored me this time.
Very rude! Wild Turkey is a very popular distillery. One of the oldest things in Kentucky is the history you can learn about. Good location, modern gift shop, good tour and good taste. The good thing is that you can choose to buy at least nine large private barrels.
Don't forget to say hello to Jimmy Russell and ask him to sign your bottle. Really amazing!! We visited many restaurants on Bourbon Street and made many memories along the way. Most of them are very nice and we are always happy. I have high hopes for Wild Turkey Distillery.
That being said, what happened here is amazing!! The grounds are beautiful, with beautiful views of the Kentucky River below and two large bridges above. The park is small from the parking lot, but trust me, it is not small! It's a spacious home with great views, great views, great options, and maybe a Kentucky legend or two!

When I walked in the door, I immediately saw him sitting on a chair by the door.... Jimmy Russell, Master Distiller! He talks to strangers, signs bottles and other memorabilia, smiles and speaks the truth. I happily asked him to sign his signature bottle of Wild Turkey Rare Breed, which he did with a smile!
The staff were amazing! Polite, helpful, informative, and just fun…. that's what made our trip so special! The historic grounds, beautiful scenery, and atmosphere are easily forgotten if the staff are not memorable! Oh, and be sure to try the Wild Turkey call in the gift shop!
If you don't do it loud enough, Jimmy Russell himself can come and show you how to sing Wild Turkey if you want! We had a great time at Wild Turkey!
