The 34th Human Rights Watch Film Festival will run from May 31 to June 11, 2023 Full screening of 10 innovative new films across the United States. The New York Film Festival will be held again. A full program of private screenings at Films at Lincoln Center and the IFC Center, along with in-depth discussions with filmmakers, filmgoers, journalists, activists, and Human Rights Watch researchers.
The festival will continue to offer the opportunity to watch all 10 new films online from June 5 to June 11 with a full digital version of the festival across the United States. This year's edition focuses on a variety of themes and topics, including the Ukraine conflict, climate gentrification and justice, women's rights, transgender rights, freedom of the press, and access to health care in the United States.
